Your conference highlights
Chiro Live 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together over 300 chiropractors, international experts, students, and industry partners at the iconic St George’s Park. The event celebrated the transformative power of movement in musculoskeletal health and explored innovative approaches to help patients “Move Beyond Pain”.
We were thrilled to welcome attendees from around the world and foster a vibrant community of like-minded professionals. Our goal was to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and inspiration, and we hope that delegates left feeling equipped and motivated to make a positive impact on their patients’ lives through movement.
Commenting on the successful event, BCA President, Tim Button, said, “Chiro Live 2024 was a truly unforgettable event! From hearing inspiring speakers, including some of the brightest minds in chiropractic from the US and the UK, to the overwhelming support for the President’s charity, the Darby Rimmer Foundation. Marcus Stewart’s heartfelt interview was a poignant moment for all of us. It was incredible to connect with our members, listen to their ambitious visions for the future, and see everyone come together, relax, and enjoy the fantastic band, Audible Release. A special shoutout to the students who joined us – your presence lit up the room with so much hope and energy for the future of our profession“.
We learned, laughed and made memories together, all beautifully captured by our talented photographer, Philip Rowley. We are excited to share the event highlights and photos with you.

#ChiroLive2024 in Pictures
We hope you had an amazing time at Chiro Live 2024! Our incredible lineup of speakers truly delivered. Dr Michele Maiers from the United States gave us a fantastic overview of whole health and how it can revolutionise healthcare by empowering individuals and communities to achieve their goals. A system transformation that moves to one rooted in overall health and wellbeing, rather than one of disease management.
Dr. Lawrence Foweather shared practical tips on making physical activity meaningful and enjoyable for your patients, and Doctors MaryAnne and Cody Dimak provided valuable insights into perinatal health support and person-centred movement advocacy. There was real synergy in all speaker presentations around person-centred approaches, establishing lifelong movement behaviours, holistic health and wellbeing, and supporting autonomy and choice.
The day culminated in our interactive Big Think sessions, featuring a diverse range of topics, including AI innovations, exercise prescription, life with Motor Neurone Disease, and the importance of candour and excellence in practice. We also heard from our first ever BCA Introducing winner, James Oldham, who shared his truly invaluable knowledge on the role of simulated chiropractic in recognising serious pathology.
For our students and new graduate delegates, we offered a specialised workshop, titled “Building Confidence in Cervical Manipulation” which saw BCA members Owain Evans, Philippa Oakley and Kathryn Deverson share some important adjusting techniques with our student and new graduate delegates, to help them feel confident in their skills. And last but not least, our Non-clinical Masterclass was a huge success. Our expert speaker, Wendy O’Brien, equipped participants with the necessary tools to effectively manage patient concerns, communicate efficiently, manage schedules, and handle conflicts. A heartfelt thank you goes to all our inspiring speakers for their insightful presentations and contagious enthusiasm.
