The British Chiropractic Association is delighted to have been shortlisted in two Memcom Membership Excellence award categories this year, celebrating “the huge positive impact that both individuals and teams have on their organisation, their members and wider society”.

This public recognition reflects not only on the work of the BCA staff, our Board and our committees, but on the membership as a whole, who value and appreciate the ‘extra mile’ we try to go for them, to lead and inspire the profession towards our incredibly ambitious Vision, for chiropractic to be integral to UK healthcare.
BCA CEO, Tom Mullarkey MBE, said: “It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for the Memcom Awards in the Best Professional Membership Organisation category, not least because we are in such august company, including that of the British Medical Association.
Our small (but growing) team has as its core the commitment and determination to provide the very best for our 1800 members and we work tirelessly to support our Mission for them, which is to be the home for chiropractors who put patients first“.
Commenting on her nomination, BCA President, Catherine Quinn, said: “I am incredibly humbled to be named alongside my healthcare colleagues at the British Medical Association and Royal College of Psychiatrists in this shortlist. It seems a little surreal!
Representing the #BCAfamily and the way that chiropractic contributes so integrally to UK healthcare is a great privilege and one that I have committed to do with integrity. Thank you to every member that I have had the pleasure of working with in these past five years, in both Board and committee roles – your individual leadership and positive engagement pushes our Association forward! A special thank you to my team mate and Vice President, Tim Button, who has been a steadfast support and without whom I couldn’t have even imagined the changes we have implemented since being brought together in our roles“.
