Announcing the results of the 2025 BCA Board Elections and AGM Resolutions

BCA CEO, Cait Allen, announces this year's election and AGM results.

It was a pleasure to attend this year's AGM meeting which took place on Wednesday 10 September, and to see so many of you voting in the elections and on the resolutions. Thank you to everyone who joined and please do come along and meet in person at Chiro Live in November – there is still just enough time to get a ticket.

I can now share the results of the 2025 AGM Resolutions and the Board Elections. Voting was administered independently by Civica Election Services (CES) and eligible members (‘Full members’) were invited to vote from 13 August until 3 September.

AGM Resolutions

Because the AGM was held remotely, all voting was conducted by proxy/ballot in accordance with ‘Article 60.2’, ‘Schedule 2, Part 3, Item 23 (3) (4) (5)’ and ‘Schedule 2, Part 3, Item 31’ of the British Chiropractic Association’s Articles of Association (2018) (revised 2019).

  1. To adopt the minutes of the previous meeting on 2 October 2024
  2. To receive the Annual Report and Accounts for 2024
  3. To appoint Tag Accountants Group as the BCA Auditors
  4. To approve membership subscriptions for 2026
  5. To approve the election of new Full members

You can read the AGM papers here.

Elections

Nominations for President, Vice President and Treasurer were unopposed, thus were not subject to a vote. Eight nominations for the five non-officer posts were received and an election was held to appoint five members to serve on the BCA Board.

The BCA Board, elected for a two-year term, are:

President: Tim Button (Unopposed, Duly Elected)

Vice President: Faye Deane (Unopposed, Duly Elected)

Treasurer: John Williamson (Unopposed, Duly Elected)

Board Members:

  • Jessica Davy
  • Alister Du Rose
  • Ben Grant
  • Juliet Lock
  • Philippa Oakley

On behalf of the BCA, its Board and Staff Team, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Ulrik Sandstrøm, Owain Evans and Mark Christensen for their service on the Board. Their contributions to the BCA have been significant and appreciated.
