Some sessions will count towards 'learning with others' for CPD, while others may not. We will indicate whether a session meets the GCC thresholds for CPD using their guidance. Refer to the following links for more details:

You need to be subscribed to BCA emails. If you receive the weekly edition of InTouch by email, then you are subscribed. Ahead of each event, we will send out registration emails that will enable you to sign up to attend the event. Ahead of the date of the event, you will receive the joining link by email and,after the event, you will receive a link to the recording (if applicable) and a confirmation of attendance which can be used for CPD purposes.

In our conversations with the GCC, they have suggested that virtual sessions can count as ‘learning with others’ providing you participate in the LIVE session. If being viewed afterwards, it won’t count as learning with others unless you are viewing the recording whilst interacting with other colleagues. In the latter situation, you would need to provide evidence of that interaction, which could be screen grabs showing multiple participants, for example.

If you watch the recording, it can count as CPD (if it meets learning goals but not learning with others).

If you can’t join us live, you can watch our virtual BCA sessions at a time that suits you via our BCA Sessions library in the 'Re-watch' section above.

If you signed up for an event or webinar, you will receive an email after the event with links to various resources and a recording (if applicable) as well as a confirmation of attendance (if available). This will be sent to the email you used to sign up to the event.

If you feel that a BCA Session meets one or more of your learning objectives (and the GCC's CPD criteria), you can upload the confirmation of attendance email to the GCC's CPD portal as evidence of attendance. To do so, you need to save the email to your device first.
