FAQs

  • Is this event relevant if I do not manage a team or own a clinic?

Yes. Leadership in chiropractic is not limited to managing people. If you make decisions about care, communication, marketing, or professional judgement, then this event is designed to support you.

Every chiropractor makes leadership decisions, including how you communicate with patients, how you manage your time and finances, and how you present yourself publicly. Several sessions address this directly, and delegates are grouped by experience rather than by whether they employ people.

  • How is this different from other leadership or business-focused CPD?

This event focuses on leadership as professional responsibility, and the programme is deliberately grounded in the GCC Code of Professional Practice and real clinical decisions, rather than generic leadership theory or business tactics.

Each session has been designed to translate the Code into real-world leadership behaviours, helping you apply professional standards confidently in everyday practice.

This event focuses on everything that sits alongside clinical delivery: how you communicate, how you make decisions under pressure, how you grow a practice ethically, and how the GCC Code applies to all of it in practice rather than on paper.

  • What is the Leadership Growth Pledge?

Towards the close of the day, each delegate makes a personal, specific commitment to one leadership or business change they will act on over the following six months.

Pledges are revisited through a follow-up online workshop and supported through the Leadership Network, giving the commitment some external accountability.

  • Is the ticket price inclusive of everything?

The £279 ticket covers the full day programme, lunch, refreshments, and the Museum of Illusions evening. Accommodation is not included, though the BCA will secure preferential rates at Treehouse Hotel for delegates who want to stay.

  • I'm fairly early in my career. Is this too advanced for me?

No. There's a breakout group specifically for aspiring leaders, and the programme is designed around the reality that leadership responsibilities arrive early in chiropractic, often before anyone's prepared for them. If you're starting to think about how you want to build your career, this is a good day to be in.

  • What will I actually walk away with?

A clearer sense of how the GCC Code applies to the decisions you make every day.

Practical approaches to patient retention, difficult conversations, clinic growth, and business sustainability.

Insight from peers who are navigating the same pressures.

And a Leadership Growth Pledge, a specific, personal commitment to one change you'll make over the following six months, with a follow-up workshop and accountability through the BCA Leadership Network to help you follow through.

  • I work on my own. Will the business and team management content apply to me?

Yes. Solo practitioners carry the full weight of clinical decision-making, patient communication, marketing, compliance, and business sustainability, usually without anyone to consult. Several sessions address these pressures directly, and the framing throughout treats leadership as a professional responsibility rather than a management function.

  • What should I wear?

    Smart/casual.

  • What's the Museum of Illusions?

It's an immersive experience a short walk from Treehouse Hotel, and the group visit starts with a drinks reception. It's included in the ticket price and gives the day a natural extension into informal networking, which is usually where the most useful conversations happen anyway.
