Research Poster Competition

Prizes in each of two categories: student and registered clinician

Chiro Live offers researchers, scholars, practitioners and students the opportunity to share their research findings in a poster format throughout the event. The research poster competition offers an evolving platform for emerging ideas and innovation, allowing researchers to share insights with peers and industry leaders, and contribute to a community that values discovery and collaboration.

  • How do I register for the conference?

    Tickets will go on sale in Summer 2026, be sure to register your interest so that we can send you additional updates and reminders on when this will be.

    You will be given the option to purchase an Access All Areas ticket for the Friday and Saturday activities, or a Saturday only ticket (Conference only and Conference and Dinner option). 

  • How do I get to the venue?

    Chiro Live 2027 takes place at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), located in the heart of Bournemouth on the South Coast.

    The venue is easily accessible:

    • Train: Bournemouth Railway Station is approximately a 10–15 minute taxi journey from the BIC and offers direct services from London Waterloo and other major cities.
    • Car: Bournemouth is well connected via the A338 from the M27 and A31.
    • Air: Bournemouth Airport is around 15 minutes by car from the venue, with connections to several UK and European destinations.

    Full travel details and directions will be shared with delegates in the joining instructions closer to the event.

  • Is there parking at the venue?

    Yes. The Bournemouth International Centre has its own multi-storey public car park with approximately 644 spaces, located directly next to the venue. The car park is open 24 hours a day and provides lift and step-free access from all levels into the conference centre. 

    Typical parking tariffs (subject to change) include:

    • Up to 1 hour – £2.20
    • Up to 2 hours – £4.20
    • Up to 3 hours – £6.00
    • Up to 4 hours – £7.50
    • Up to 6 hours – £11.00
    • Up to 24 hours – £18.00 

    The car park has accessible parking bays on levels 1–3, and the height restriction is 2 metres (6 ft 6 in). 

    Additional parking is also available in nearby public car parks in Bournemouth town centre, including the Bournemouth Pavilion car park, which is a short walk from the BIC and the venue for the BCA Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday evening. 

    We recommend allowing extra time for parking during busy periods, particularly on Saturday morning.

  • Where can I stay overnight?

    We have curated a list of accommodation options in the local area in collaboration with Business Events Bournemouth to suit a range of budgets and needs – you can book your accommodation by following this link: CHIRO Live – Bebres Bzon 

  • Where do I register when I arrive?

    Registration will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre Purbeck Foyer. The conference has its own dedicated entrance. Signage will guide you to the Chiro Live registration desk where you will collect your conference materials.

  • I have accessibility or wellbeing needs – who should I speak to?

    Please visit the registration desk or speak to a member of the BCA events team, and we will ensure you are supported. You can also email us at conferences@chiropractic-uk.co.uk for more information before the event. 

  • What time does the conference start?

    Registration opens at 08:00 on both days and the registration desk will be manned from 07:30.

    Friday: From 09:00 

    On Friday you will be given the option to attend morning or afternoon seminar sessions (confirmed at booking) to accommodate differing scheduling needs and learning preferences. Morning seminars take place between 09:00 - 12:30 and afternoon seminars begin at 14:00 and finish at 17:30.  

    The exhibition hall will be open between 09:00 17:00 for all delegates to browse and there will be several additional activities taking place throughout the day. 


    Saturday: 09:00

    Your conference programme and digital brochure will include full session details. BCA staff and volunteers will also be available to guide delegates between rooms.

  • What networking opportunities are included?

    Chiro Live is designed to encourage meaningful connection between delegates.

    Networking opportunities include:

    • Exhibition breaks
    • Informal social moments
    • The Friday Welcome BBQ (For AAA pass holders) - will take place at Key West on Bournemouth Pier and offer a relaxed evening of networking, food, and entertainment overlooking the sea. 
    • The BCA Excellence Awards Gala Dinner
  • Who should I ask if I need help?

    During the event look for a member of the BCA events team or venue staff. Anyone wearing a BCA badge or event clothing will be happy to assist.
