What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a hands-on healthcare profession that focuses on keeping your body moving at its best. Chiropractors help diagnose, treat and manage problems affecting the spine, joints, muscles and nervous system, including issues caused by sport, exercise, study and everyday life.
But chiropractic is about more than just fixing aches and pains. Chiropractors look at the bigger picture, considering factors such as physical activity, posture, sleep, stress, and lifestyle to help patients achieve lasting improvements in their health and quality of life.

Considering chiropractic through clearing?
Didn't get the results you expected? Don't panic. Every year, students secure places on healthcare courses through clearing. The 2026 UCAS Clearing cycle runs from 2 July to 19 October 2026.
Your Quick Checklist:
✓ Check your UCAS status - on results day (or after applying), UCAS will show whether you're eligible for clearing.
✓ Search for courses with vacancies - universities advertise courses that still have places available through the UCAS Clearing search tool.
✓ Contact universities directly - you'll usually call the university admissions team. Have your UCAS ID, exam results, and course details ready. Ask them as many questions as you can about the course and try to arrange a capus visit where possible.
✓ Receive an offer - if the university is interested, they may give you a provisional or verbal offer.
✓ Add the clearing choice in UCAS - once you're happy with the offer, you add that university as your Clearing choice in UCAS
✓ University confirms the place - the university reviews and confirms your application, and your place is secured.
