Sam Tiley

Chair (University of South Wales)

I graduated from WIOC in 2021 and since then I have worked in a practice in Caerphilly. I completed my FICS ICSC qualification and continue to work with sports teams and athletes alongside my private practice. I work on the BCA committee alongside running the FICS student mentoring program as part of my role with the FICS students commission. I am passionate about ensuring all students and new grads of our profession get the support they deserve whilst building their network and experience.

Christopher Gregory

Health Sciences University

I graduated from AECC and completed the IAVC course in 2024. I treat a number of horses, predominately racehorses across the south coast. Being a passionate equestrian myself I enjoy working with horse and rider to develop their biomechanical relationship. I also am in private practice three days a week in Somerset.

Clea Reid

Teesside University

I am currently in my fourth year of study at Teesside University. Joining the Chiropractic course, which began in 2020, has been a remarkable journey. Now in my final years of study, I’ve had the opportunity to work with patients in the student clinic, which has been an exciting and deeply rewarding experience. This year, I was also fortunate to complete an international placement in Chile, where I learned about different healthcare services and broadened my understanding of chiropractic in a global context.

Kyla Koçak

University of South Wales

Hi, my name is Kyla. I am a chiropractor at the Hanham Clinic in Bristol. I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2023 and have been in practice for two years. I spent my first year in an employed chiropractic position, giving me valuable insight into both employed and self-employed practice. Alongside my clinic work, I also work with elite sports teams and football clubs in Bristol.

Daniel De Rooij

University of South Wales

Hi! I’m Daniel and I graduated in 2024 with a distinction in Master of Chiropractic Care from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC). I’m currently in my first year as a Clinician at Proactive Chiropractic in Cardiff.
While at university, I earned additional qualifications, becoming a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist in 2021 and completing my Level 3 Personal Trainer Course in 2024. I also served as Course Rep and Society Treasurer, receiving a Leadership Award from the British Chiropractic Association.

Katie Mihalovics

Teesside University

My name is Katie, and I’m a dedicated chiropractor with a strong foundation in exercise science. I hold an MSci in Chiropractic from Teesside University, where I graduated with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in holistic healthcare. Before moving to the UK, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) in Canada, a field that originally fueled my interest in optimising human performance and wellness.

Sophie Donaldson

University of South Wales

I graduated from WIOC in 2021 and returned to the North West, where I now work in two clinics in Alderley Edge and Hoylake. Having completed my ICSC qualification with FICS, I am also working with Wilmslow RUFC alongside my private practice. I am passionate about helping develop the association and profession for the future, so I can’t wait to see this committee thrive as it moves forward.

Aedan Sheridan-Dwyer

London South Bank Universit

My name is Aedan, and I am a third-year student and student representative at London South Bank University. My passion lies with sports, and I aspire to work with athletes and sports teams in my future practice. I am particularly interested in sports injuries and optimising performance. Having experience as a student rep, I understand the importance of communicating a group’s needs to allow for effective intervention. I see this committee as an opportunity to develop meaningful student involvement in the BCA, building a community of students and new graduates passionate about patient-centred care.

Amber Hodgson

Teesside University

I began studying Chiropractic because I wanted to be part of a profession that could not only treat MSK conditions but provide ongoing support to individuals who have enduring or lifelong conditions. My time at Teesside University has allowed me to volunteer in many roles, I particularly enjoy my role as chair of the chiropractic society, organising pop-up information services and community outreach initiatives. I have taken part in a number of international opportunities which have highlighted the importance of interprofessional collaboration and public health engagement. My goal is to make a positive impact by providing compassionate, person-centred care and community engagement beyond the clinical setting.

My name is Safa’, and I am a first-year chiropractic student and Teesside University. Driven by a passion to advocate for fellow chiropractic students, I’ve joined the BCA’s Student and New Graduate Committee to a voice within our community. My vision is to help advance chiropractic education, ensuring it evolves to meet the needs of future practitioners and continues to gain recognition with the broader healthcare landscape.
