The British Chiropractic Association are delighted to announce the appointment of Lisa King as Director of Communications and Marketing. The appointment continues the development of their staff body to best meet the needs of their dynamic membership.
Lisa joins the BCA team from AECC University College, bringing with her a unique blend of expertise in the chiropractic profession, corporate communications and marketing which will transform how the Association interacts with members, key stakeholders and general public. She will lead this key area of work, coordinating the Association’s PR agency and will be supported by the BCA Membership Services team, who took over the administration of the Association in 2018 and by Anne Barlow who leads BCA Operations. President of the BCA, Catherine Quinn said: “Public relations and member communications are key success factors to our development and Lisa’s experience in this area will be invaluable to the BCA. We are proud to see our academic institutions developing leaders not only in the areas of clinical and academic excellence, but in roles fundamental to the development of our profession. Crucially, Lisa’s track record of developing a clear value proposition for organisations will develop our profile to external stakeholders, giving us a stronger platform on which to influence from.” Commenting on her appointment, Miss King said; “I’m thrilled to be joining the BCA at such an exciting time. The chiropractic profession has a lot to offer both patients and wider society and I relish the opportunity to help communicate that.” Lisa will take up the position at the end of April. |
